Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain is designed for exterior wood surfaces such as windows and doors; smooth planed wood. It provides both colour and protection, guarding the wood against rain, frost, snow and sunshine. It is formulated so that it does not require a base-coat or primer, simplifying preparation. The stain is long-lasting (10 years), with a satin finish, and is intended to be applied in three coats for best durability. It dries quickly (rainproof in ~1 hour), and fully cures in ~12 hours under suitable conditions. It comes in a range of colours (oak, mahogany, dark oak, teak, etc.), and in various pack sizes (250 ml, 750 ml, 2.5 L). It is water-based, low VOC, and suitable for exterior use, though not suitable for decking.
