Simply skim it on and smooth it off – it will set hard in about 4 hours to a finish that can be topcoated with most water and solvent-based Coral and Dulux topcoats.

Dulux SmoothOver is designed to skim over rough, uneven plaster and rendering to give a clean, hard, white surface. It’s vinyl-reinforced for improved flexibility and adhesion. It can be applied both indoors and outdoors. The product allows skimming up to about 3 mm thickness per area (with layers as needed). After setting (around 4 hours at 23 °C), the surface is hard, alkali- and weather-resistant, and ready for paint without primer. It dries quickly, sands to smooth finish, and is suitable for both DIY and professional use.
