Dulux Rainshield is a high-performance acrylic waterproofing paint designed to protect exterior surfaces such as concrete, plaster, roof parapets and fibre cement without needing a separate membrane. It bridges cracks up to 2.0 mm, remains flexible, and resists UV and water damage. Applied by brush or roller, it forms a durable film after several coats. For horizontal surfaces (like roofs), three coats are typically required to reach minimum dry film thickness; for vertical surfaces, two coats suffice. It can be overcoated with many water-based decorative paints once cured.
