Hammerite Hammered Finish is specially formulated for metal surfaces, allowing direct application without having to strip all rust. It uses DualTech™ technology to provide both rust inhibition and water repellence. The “hammered” finish gives visual texture and metallic aesthetics, helping to hide minor surface imperfections. The paint dries relatively fast (touch dry in about 1-2 hours), provides long-lasting protection (up to 8 years in many cases when properly applied), and is available in various colours and pack sizes. It can be applied by brush, roller, spray, or aerosol, depending on the version, and is well suited for gates, railings, trailers, gutters, and other exposed metalwork.
