Derbicote is a water-based bitumen emulsion formulated for protective and waterproofing use in construction and industry. It consists of fine bitumen particles dispersed in water using inert colloidal mineral emulsifiers. It can be applied pure or diluted (10-50 % with cold water) to various substrates including walls subjected to saline corrosion, silos, tanks, reservoirs, concrete structures, metal profiles, pipes, etc. It serves as a vapor barrier, corrosion protection and moisture control. It is compatible with hydraulic binders and quarry-type products. Packaging ranges from small metal or plastic buckets (5 kg, 15 kg) up to 200 kg drums. Application is possible via brush, roller, broom, trowel or spray gun.
