Coral Red Oxide Primer is formulated for internal and external use on new, bare ferrous metals (iron and steel). It protects against rust and corrosion, forming a matt, tough, hi-build coating that helps surfaces hold up in coastal and inland conditions. The primer adheres well, fills minor surface irregularities, and prepares the surface for subsequent finish coats. It is applied by brush, roller or spray, and allows for good spreading rates so less material is needed. Ideal as the first layer in metal finishing systems to prevent rust and enhance durability of the top coats.
