A white, solvent-based primer that provides a highly adherent film to new, bare internal and external galvanised and aluminium surfaces.
Coral Galvanised Primer is designed specifically for non-ferrous metal surfaces (galvanised steel, aluminium) both interior and exterior. It forms a tough, adherent base coat that helps future paints adhere well, improves corrosion resistance, and extends the lifespan of the finish coat. It is applied with brush, roller, or spray, dries to touch in approximately 6 hours, and should be recoated after ~12 hours. The film must be topcoated to achieve full weather resistance. This primer is suited for use on new metal surfaces that are clean and properly prepared. It is not designed to withstand long exposure without a final coat and should not be used over rust or heavily degraded metal without prior treatment.
