Burnt Clay Bricks

Burnt clay bricks are crafted by molding clay into standard shapes and firing them at elevated temperatures (800–1100 °C) in kilns to achieve hardness and durability. They deliver superior structural performance compared to sun-dried bricks, offering excellent fire resistance, thermal mass, and weather resilience. In Ghana, locally-manufactured burnt bricks are gaining popularity for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, due to their affordability, durability, and attractive natural reddish hue.
